Description:The Dishwasher/Kitchen Help will be responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. In addition, Duties may include:
- Prep work
- Taking garbage and trash to the dumpster area
- Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
- Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry. but not limited to, providing exceptional food service and food quality that meets Whirlyball standards, while ensuring safe food handling procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dishwashers clean dishes, utensils and food preparation equipment.
- Handling kitchen elements such as pots and dishes to ensure they are clean and available for customer service.
- Put away clean dishes in proper storage areas such as in cabinets or racks.
- Dishwashers are responsible for unloading dirty dishes brought in bussers. Their role also involves scraping, sorting, and stacking dirty dishes prior to loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning.
- Clean kitchen floors, sinks, and countertops to ensure a clean work area.
- As part of the responsibilities, dishwashers carry out stocking of supplies such as food and utensils, refrigerators or serving stations.
- Sweep kitchen floors and take out trash when necessary. also clean garbage cans with water & soap.
Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1-year experience preferred
- Candidates must have experience working in a high-volume concept/Catering
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
