Job Title: Busser/Food Runner Department: FOH & Beverage
Reports to: Director of Facilities/FOH & Bar Pay Range: $16hr + tips + benefits

Summary of Functions: Busser/Food Runnerprovides a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. Bussers/Food Runners also work closely with servers and bartenders, helping to seat guests when host is not available or busy, bus tables, run food, and present menus.
Accountability: Reports directly to Director of FOH & Beverage
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers, showing them to their tables and providing them with menus.
- Assisting customers with queries, requests, and redirecting as necessary.
- Assist back of house team with carrying plates and beverages
- Maintain sanitary rules and food safety regulations.
- Double-check orders before sending them out to guests.
- Maintain adequate knowledge of food and beverage items and specials.
- Ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset between seating’s.
- Serving/running food and refilling beverages as required.
- Assisting with the cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware.
- Ensuring that the menus and cutlery are cleaned and replenished between tables.
- Managing the inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table condiments and supplies.
- Reporting any damages, shortages, and complaints to the lead, supervisor/management.
- Moving tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.
- Tidying the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service.

MinimumQualifications:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years or older
- Must have a valid State License, Gaming License
- Must obtain a food handlers card
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Prior experience in a fast paced environment preferred
- Must pass background check and UA testing prior to employment
- Have the ability to speak effectively to groups of employees, customers and the public
- Working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures.
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions, working in a fast paced environment.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to stay on task with little to no supervision
